I happened to run into a railroad-yard next to a railroad that has not been used commercially for a long time. Nowadays a non-profit organization uses the railroad as a museum. They own the entire railroad, a couple of stations, a workshop, storage-facilities for the train-carts, a few cart-sets from different eras etc. During the summer-months you can travel on the railroad in old carts that has been restored and looks as if they where new.
