| | | Guess where I'm going today? Weston! I have always been fascinated with this building. It had an identical "twin sister" hospital here in my home town (Spencer, WV) that was torn down years ago, and the history has both fascinated and repulsed me since I moved here in '01. OK, here I go. Cue the photos!

| | | Nice photos! I would love to see the outside in a b/w photo. Who is that lady in the last picture, a tour guide? Local Historian?

| | | Nice set. How much did you have to pay to enter? I remembered this place when it was a little less cleaned up

| | | Robby -- I do have a BW of the front... hang on, lemme find it. The lady in the pic is Daisy, our guide. I love that the guides wear period clothing. Seicer -- it's $30 to enter. That's a bit steep, but the money goes to restoration, and as they restore more areas, more open up on the tour. (The clock tower will be accessible by fall.)

| | | What a beautiful building, and great photos! I'd pay $30 to roam around there, too. I especially like the curved catwalk. In the photos, your Tour Guide Daisy could be mistaken for a ghost. Blur her a little, fade the brightness... and scare a few people!

| | | What's this about the clock tower being open in the fall?
Everyone has a dark side, mines just a little more illuminated. |
