Nice pictures. I like old farms like that. It's not too far away from me either. Where do you live? Are you in the quad cities?

Yo Glass. How often do you get down South? You said you were in CR recently. Was that just because you were going to Midwest Fest, or do you make other trips down south of MN?

Last time I tried this house the camera entered the basement before me and landed lens first in the mud floor.

Those are pretty sweet pictures, the place looks pretty creepy.

I used to have to drive an old tractor like that for one of my jobs. The thing might still run, though given the condition of the rest of the house I would be surprised if you could get it going.

Go Cubs go! Hey Chicago what do you say...

If not bent like that where the paint was flaked off that Gargoyle gas sign would be worth a thousand bucks, but back then who knew? The tractor looks to be a pre 1941 John Deere B. As bad as it looks it still probably would run with a bit of tlc.

Too bad about the camera, nice images.
Try shooting during daylight hours whenever it will aid you, and your equipment. A bag for the camera helps too.

Well, there's a gallon can of WD-40 on that hog feeder, that should fix it!

Good call on the pre 41 JD B it is a B and from the looks of the tires still being up I wouldn't doubt that it still runs with a little fresh fuel. A farmer still keeps some equipment out at this farm site and i'm guessing it is his tractor.

I was going to post something similar, as I knew a farmer back in the day who just left an old farmhouse standing on his land, but kept a lot of his equipment in the old barn. Some of it was kind of old, but it all still worked.

Love the old tractor. It amazes me that someone would leave something like that.
