So next week I will be taking a mini road trip from up here, DFW, down to visit some family in the Beaumont-Port Arthur region. I also intend to do some exploring, but I need some help from anyone who happens to live in that area. I know of a few places off the top of my head simply because I've seen them every time I go down there, but there's no telling if they will work out. So if there's anyone down there who might like to be a guide to a North Texan... well heck, I'd sure appreciate it.

There aere a few abandoned buildings in downtown Port Arthur as well as some ababndoned houses within & around the area. Some of the houses were abandoned due to hurricanes Rita & Ike. There is also an abandoned hotel, but be careful you don't get caught since it's next to a police station. You'll have to keep an eye on the police & time it right to get into the hotel & also figure out how not to arouse suspicion.
