lots is torn down, but there was still a good bit left last time i saw it. but that was a few months ago.
and it's possible. i know a few people who've done it.

Word on the street is that the Tinley Park mental hospital is slated for closure sometime early next year. All great UE trips for sure!

Well... if it's possible... doesn't hurt to go try it out. Maybe the guy I talked to about it exaggerated a bit on how hard it is to get in.

no it won't. do you watch the news? last i checked...no one has any of this thing called money.
if anyone cares, a great way to access is parking at the metra station in tinley park (downtown) and walking the tracks.

I get all my news from Colbert and he says everything is OK! Next month is when they move everything into one building, not sure which one, maybe "Pine". It's the long 2-story building behind the admin building. I heard it's the one they'll use since it has a cafeteria built into the building. Howe Developmental Center next door is supposed to close completely this summer though, mostly due to the lawsuits of patient deaths and abuse. I'm sure the state will do what it can to delay things until they have a developer lined up to buy the property.
