|  | | | I'd seen this place many times as we raced along highway 400. The problem was that it was adjacent to the highway and not actually on it. Like most motorists along the 400 series, I was in too much of a hurry to take the time to backtrack and try to find the way to this place.
On this day however, I had determined the correct exit to take to give it an actual explore. While it's been around for many years, only my friend Copy-Six bothered to add it to the databsse some years back.
So, with nothing better to do, I offer up to you some current photos of the Port Severn Motor Hotel. It's none too exciting but perhaps a location shared may equal a location enjoyed by someone else.
The black-marker vulgar comments are difficult to read in the smaller image uploaded to UER. They were obviously added after the original art was created. I will add the comments into the DB entry.

Now we just have to hit up that old pizza place on 69. Also, I'm also told there's another vacant motel on the other side of the highway in Port Severn. That needs some looking into.

I take it the pizza place is up closer to Sudbury?
I shall have a look for the other motel on my first trip up north this year.(waiting impatiently for warmer weather)
Also I checked out the motel/diner on Hwy 11. It was very uninteresting on the interior since it was completely trashed so I only took a couple exterior pics. Believe me it is not even worth visiting. Here are the two pics:

The pizza parlour is on the right hand side heading to Sudbury. There is an entrance on the right of the building, and a shed off to the right of the business. There is a name for this place but it eludes me at present. I believe that it will be before Still River as you come up from Toronto (but don't quote me).
That diner looks pretty cool. I've seen photos of it but didn't know where it was.

Ya the motel is on hwy 11 just north of gasoline alley but as I said it isn't worth a trip in itself but if you are in the area sometime you could check it out.
