I love it. I'm going to have to head out here soon. Right now I've only explored the old GP buildings in B'ham.

Well hit me up if you want some company, the cement plant is huge inside. I think there are 5 levels in all and a load of out building that I want to explore, just waiting for nicer weather to get to them.
Never been to the GP building(s). That could be interesting. Don't know how the Singer Pit is in B'ham is know, been years since I was last there.

hmm... Would it be possible for one with an off-road motorcycle to camp there?

Yes but considering that the quarry next door was full of kids blowing up pipe bombs I wouldn't leave my vehicle there overnight even if I was camping nearby...

It is a cool place and completely open though.

Well I don't sleep but more than a couple feet from the bike, so that wouldn't be a problem.

You could camp out there, if you are riding an enduro. There is a gate, sometimes open, sometimes not. You can get around it with no issues. The building is only 300ish yard up from the gate.

You sure it was pipe bombs or people out shooting? I shoot at the pit regularly.

Saw the kids from the roof of the processing building, it was pipe bombs. Looked cool but I didn't feel like going over and watching it.

Yeah, that kind of stuff I can't get into. Hell I might just head up that way this next weekend.
