It's cool that the city as at least made an attempt to save the Ransom Gillis house... I'm not sure how much progress they've make but from the 20 minutes of research I've done, they've added a roof and rebuilt the collapsed turret.

One down... millions to go.

They did what they could to stabilize it. It may have been a non-prophet who did the work though. I do not see the city doing anything to save a building in this town, if they did they would have made a big deal hop'la a bout it.

I have a friend who does hardwood floors in that neighborhood and some of the old restored homes are absolutely fascinating. Nothing like it anywhere. I'll try to get some of his pics.
