i dunno.. my group idea might be different than yours.

but a co-worker of mine showed me an old abandoned mansion. he went there when he was a teen and hes in his late 20s. so the place is pretty torn up by now. and its in a pretty big ghetto.

but atleast in downtown shreveport you can look any direction without seeing some sort of abandonment

I saw a breathing lump under a blanket, what could it be? - 1 hobo - 2 dwarf hobos - 8 racoons - 443 rats - 896 mice or 11 rat kings?

So your idea of a "group" is one other person? Fair enough.

So is this a slam against Df Dub (Dallas)?

You wouldnt come here.....we have mad skitophrinics roaming the streets like packs of rabid wolves.

Like this guy came up and asked me for a dollar......I almost hit him with my tripod and stabbed him with my Bowie knife, but he was way too scary.....I ran real fast.

He wasnt the same color as me so I was 2x scared.

Ah yes, thats a scene from the movie Bum Fights. That took place in Kalifornia....I have a feeling that if that went down in Texas, it may have ended a little different for that dude. Probably not so well.

Heres a clip of the director/ producer of those vids on on Dr. Phil....he goes out on stage dressed just like Dr. Phil and calls him out....pretty funny stuff.

Found this online:
* Mace is classified as an irritant and is similar to tear gas.
* Pepper spray is classified as an inflammatory agent and will immediately
incapacitate an assailant.
* Commonly, Mace has no affect on criminals under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Pepper spray will take down and cause temporary pain to those under the influence.
* Unlike pepper spray, Mace will NOT cause inflammation of the capillaries of the eyes and skin causing temporary blindness, nausea, breathing difficulties and an intense burning sensation.
* It is important to note that Mace is also a brand name associated with pepper spray products.

I carry a 4 oz police unit, comprised of 1% Orthochlorobenzalmalononitrite (CS) and 1% Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) in a non-flammable vehicle with ultraviolet dye for identification. Brand name is "Freeze +P" available from Brigade Quartermasters for $15.99. They also have a spray that's a foam, might be even more of a deterrent to aggressors. Mine's out of date so I should get a new one.

Maybe I missed it if you already said it, but where are you that the homeless people are so scary? And how long do you suppose that threatening spray paint has been there?

It reminds me of an abandoned underground office complex I once explored. It was REAL cool... lots of natural and man made tunnels with offices put into the walls, all underground. It was way hot outside but super cold in the tunnels.

There was tons of graffiti everywhere. Mean things, too... talking about if you go beyond a certain point, you'd be murdered and stuff like that. Then, in the middle of all the threatening spray paint, someone had drawn a bunch of grapes. *shrug*
