|  | | | Apparently this used to be a private ski club separate from talisman itself, but that's all we've managed through word of mouth in the area..Also, bit of info came from a previous post of this location from another user in '06 which we will find and link for creds...Actually we just realized someone had already hit it AFTER we got back so...We aren't as clever as we think we are I guess 
The bulk of the pics where taken of the main clubhouse, 4 levels including the basement which housed the ski rental area and lockers and has exits on the south side as it is built into the grade of the hill.
West side looked to be the main entrance, double doors and some administration-looking rooms and a larger area for guests/members to hang out...as it had no hill-side access.
The north-side (Ski hill) entrance gains access to the third-level where there was a very large wider area with the dance floor (Which was fun) and the bar (which was empty)...North-west corner of this level had some dangerously loosely carpeted stairs up to...
Fourth Level, this had what seemed to be bedrooms with metal bunk beds and an open area for living/recreation...maybe a kitchen at one time as the electrical sub-panel had 220v wiring (I looked for a fuse because I wanted to see what the old-school glass fuses for 220 looked like but it had been taken) Up here there was a raccoon sleeping (I thought it was dead but UNDERGROUNDER assured me he was just sleeping  )

| | | | Well as Grounderunder had mentioned it was a fun filled day! i just figured id add a few other pictures from the other camera, Lucky for us we had 2! and the raccoon was sleeping! so we had to extra super quiet on the 4thfloor.
The whole place took over about 50 acres of land that we traveled to find some of the ski lifts and main buildings. The building its self was surprisingly strong, Even though i think Mike Holmes would have been pretty pissed with the notches cut out of the post and beam construction. We ended up having to put on our respirators when we made it to the 4thfloor, as the whole area smelled overwhelming like mouse piss and dead animal. Plus it gave us a some cool time to do some Darth Vader impressions. All in all another trip that was worth it, and for any one up in the area defently worth looking at. The ski hill its self was actually made out of the tailing of 2 large man made ponds that are for Grey water treatment for a small housing development located close by.
And just cuz i can, here are a few shots from a small cemetery we visited just before the trip to the ski hill. It yielded a few interesting shots.

It's in Meaford, ON...Kind of an interesting one. It's seen some erratic phases of maintenance and then falling into disrepair. The road access was moved from one end to the other as it used to be accessed through a farmstead back in the day (which was a Wednesday). Some of the oldest we spotted where from the 1830's and up, and apparently (according to the keeper) some of the sites are just headstones and those people from then are buried out on the farms and the headstones where just moved at a later date by new owners...
Just to show you how backwards Meaford is...The keeper was up there 'digitizing' (his lingo) all the records...(Something you think would be done in the late 90's??) Ha ha

EDIT: Also! The third pic with the tree...The keeper was telling us they think the tree grew there after the stone was placed...and upon inspection it looked like that was maybe so...Since the late 1800's you think someone would pull up a seedling but like i mentioned...Erratic maintenance

For anyone brave enough to venture to this location and check it out, We moved a huge wardrobe and discovered this gate to NARNIA!
Inside we met Mr. Tumnus the Faun, As well as Mr. and Mrs. Beaver.
