| | | drains are the way to go, so nice one starting off here ! taking photos is drains can be tricky starting off, definately a tripod is needed, and to avoid some of the camera shake try putting the camera on timer so tripod settles before it shoots.....then its just a matter of playing with iso levels and lighting its a can of worms for sure.......you get addicted to drains, then you get addicted to torchs, soon your saving for sexy cameras and gear. http://www.siologen.net/pbase/ http://urbantwilight.net/ check these out for a fix of drain porn photography.

I'll agree on the benefits of a tripod (or other stabilization). I got mine (Targus 50" aluminum, folds to forearm length) for $8, and it works well with any point-and-shoot. Join the 'flashlights, torches, and portable lighting' board http://www.uer.ca/...id=1&catid=1000508 when you get a chance to see some of the lighting tricks that can make your lights work better for photos. Be sure to play around with cameras and lighting; you'd be surprised what can be done with self-timer, a flat bit of concrete, and waving a flashlight around just right. Feel free to send me a PM if you have questions about photography or draining. I can answer with what little enough I know. Welcome to drains!

| | | Thanks! Yeah, I am already planning on another trip next weekend. I haven't ever really been this excited by a hobby of mine. I definitely need to work on the photography. I have a tripod, I just need to do the self timer... Never really thought about that. Thanks.
