The color variation has incredible color information that stands out and gives the feel of a painting. This gets better when the cliche of a "painting of a barn" is broken by the sense of decay shown in the photo. The B&W gives the feel of drama, its something you would see from a horror film but still seems a bit expected. The sky becomes the unusual quality in the B&W imo and adds to that drama nicely. So, I'd say keep either or, if you want something amazing to show go color, and if you want a deep dramatic tone go B&W.
