| | Residential Area: A shrine to our disposable culture < on 2/23/2004 3:49 PM >
| | | My most resent and perhaps the most shocking exploration so far. A whole residential area abandoned...and soon gone. http://www.silentwall.com/NorthTapiolaI.html What makes it shocking is, that we have homeless people and students without homes and at the same time we are destroying perfectly good homes. I just never want to hear those people who reclaim buildings, coming to tell me how they are doing it for the benefit for everybody. A shrine to disposable culture... | | | Do you have any information as to why the area was abandoned?

| | | Like I wrote there in the text, there was nothing wrong with those houses. Those had been empty for a few years and now they are starting to demolish them. Just because those have been abandoned for a few years... That's what makes me mad... And most likely, the area will hold similar houses in the future.
