Coming out of my lurking hole.

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting. I joined this place a while back, when UE first caught my interest, but did little more than lurk around. I recently decided to get out and try some UE for myself. After some scouting, I finally got into a spot I had my eye on, a large plant in Toronto, which is headed for demolition. I'd like to share some pictures with you. Here they are:

I really enjoyed it, it was a great experience, the place was isolated from the world yet a part of it, I'm sure you know what I mean. At times, I felt like I was walking into the past, especially when I went into the workers locker room... they had left behind a lot. I hope to UE more in the future. I'm posting to get a little more into the community of Urban Explorers here . I had been planning to attend the last 2 Toronto meets, but both times, something came up, and I couldn't go I want to go to the next one.

I also took a visit to the Don Valley Brickworks recently, but since its well known, I'll keep the pics to a minimum.

Besides these two locations, I haven't been anywhere else, I'm pretty new to this, but I feel like I'm off to a good start. I was hoping we could share ideas and such. It was really dark in that Plant, I'd like to know what kind of flashlights or light sources you use, I'm curious. I use a Fenix LD20.

Here's one more picture, its the workers lunch room at the plant, what a mess!

great set from a really cool location. The one time I went there we got chased off the property by a surprisingly astute security guard who must have somehow seen us from across the courtyard. Good thing my girlfriend noticed him coming from the corner of her eye or he wouldve surely caught us redhanded.
do you know if there are still 2 guards patrolling the place?

When I went, I didn't see any guards or other people. Hmm, when me and my friend were on the higher floors of one of the buildings, we heard sounds that sounded like other people, but we weren't sure what it really was...

Thanks for the pictures, I especially like the first location

when you are here, you wish you were there. but once you're there, it soon becomes a here, and you again wish to be there instead of here...

we will never be completely satisfied.

Your first location is awesome. I love how there is still so much machinery left in there. Good job on the pictures.
