It is too bad that we have become very insensitive to things that happen anymore. Because my previous job was in law enforcement I have become very numb to anything that does not involve a child. More often than not it was not a one time event in people's lives that caused the bad things to happen to them. Many times they have options and did not take advantage of these to change the path they were headed down. I am very guilty of making sick comments or taking the fact that some guy blew his brains all over the barn very matter of fact. I just could not get emotional. The calls for the remainder of the day would not get my full attention because I was obsessed over what I could not change for him and could possibly do help the next one.

It is self preservation, one of the big reasons that I decided to change professions.

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.

Fact is that majority of all human beings have sincere feelings toward around 20 people all the others are just numbers.

Its hard to understand but if someone came up to me today and said "Hey Nick, there was this guy named John Smith in El Paso that was brutally murdered" chances are that not knowing of that person's existence I would say "that's horrible" and not really mean it.

I mean think about it next time you pass a stranger. Do you REALLY care what happens to them????

We had this same discussion on UER about the person who was laughed at for dying in a fast food restaurant. While we might not have personally known him, had no reason to care what happened to them, we still have what is called empathy. Empathy means you can feel for the poor soul who just died, the grieving family, the mother who lost a son.

Empathy means you can choose not to make an avatar out of someone who is dead, nor crack jokes about them.

It's really not about knowing them as a person but respecting them as a human.

boo fucking hoo...

Im pretty sure he doesnt give a shit about you and Sudsbury's heartfelt emotional outrage or my calloused indignity now.

(this just in: he doesnt even know he's dead)

I think youre more interested in grabbing attention than protecting the poor decedent's dignity and respect. Lots of people buy the farm everyday. Many of them get their pics posted on the Internet. (I can post some links for you)

And please note to mods for the record, I didnt post this guys pic Imbrolgio did.

When he was at the bottom of that shaft, who's to say he didn't live for a few days before succumbing to his injuries? Sure people die everyday but you don't see everyone running to their computer to post pics of it and/or mock the person.

Of course to you it would be about grabbing attention, because you sound very much to be imbred.

And it's Sudbury not Sudsbury. Slow down before releasing all that pent up frustration.

2X, I get plenty of "attention" from my photography; I don't need to rely on trolling and flaming (as you evidently do) to be noticed.

Seems like you used to be somewhat revered around here for your urbex skills; why don't you give that a try again one of these days? I apologize if some folks on UER seem to like my photography; I certainly wouldn't want to step on the great 2Xploration's toes!

So since you seem to have this giant bug up your ass about me, why don't we make a deal? You stay off my threads and DB entries, and I'll do the same to yours.

I don't know, let me ponder that question.

A new house? Nah.

A new car? Nah.

A slightly used blow-up doll? Nah.

Oh I know... someone who'll be easily trolled and who will become frustrated and upset when called out on his crap. This person will be easily identifiable because he will become upset while the other 99% of UER members remain cool and collected.

Yee haw...I dun did found you!

Thank you for tuning into "As the UER turns" dear viewer.

In last week's episode you'll recall that 2Xplorations referred to a dead person as a "bumsicle". He was reminded by the rich and eligible bachelor Sudbury, that this was a likely person who had family that cared for him.

Imbroglio, the millionaire with his dashing good looks, also piped in that the dead person was still entitled to some dignity and respect.

2Xplorations, the infamous evil oil baron then wrote off their concerns as "heartfelt emotional outrage" and accused them of attention seeking.

Viewers around the globe gasped in shock as 2Xplorations uttered those words. Surely the oil baron didn't mean those things, did he?

2Xplorations then referred to the handsome bachelor and the millionaire as "dorks" and claimed they had built up frustrations.

Viewers were on the edge of their seat. Would the evil oil baron lash out once more, would Sudbury be able to defuse the situation?

2Xplorations called Sudbury a pompous asshole and made a less than flattering remark about Imbroglio's photography. The kid gloves were off now... surely blows would be struck. Would Sudbury and Imbroglio team up to put the oil baron in his place?

No. For at that moment Darla entered the room, took one look at 2Xplorations and proclaimed, "When you call people names, you've already lost the argument. You're also being insulting which shows you can't take the heat."

Viewers were gleeful. Darla saved the day once more. Sudbury went back to E-Harmony to find himself a dashing lady to live with him in his 34 room mansion. Imbroglio took off to find his missing wife, captured by the evil 2Xplorations only months earlier.

Stay tuned next week dear viewer as it culminates in an orgy of sex, lies and betrayal.

See you then

Stop. Enough, ok? If anyone here has a beef with someone else (which really surprises me) then let's take it private.

I haven't even read all this shit and I'm going to say I'm really disappointed and I'm locking this thread. YOu can get pissed at me if you want to.

But I'll be damn if I'm going to sit here and watch the south region go to fuck like some of the other places have.
