| | | South Carolina Explorers? < on 1/26/2009 6:18 AM >
| | | Maybe it's just me, but it seems that most of the "Mid Atlantic" explorers are in the NC/VA area. Almost all the explorers I know in the area I met off of the site. Perhaps I just live in a less internet-savy area. Are there any SC locals on the forum? Or do any of you ever pass through here to explore locations? I've rather thoroughly explored Columbia, so I'm starting to branch out, but I haven't really found any explorers outside of the handful in the Columbia area.

| | | I grew up in Myrtle Beach, but live in Texas now. It's too bad there isn't more activity in SC, would love to see how some of the old places I used to hang out at are doing now. I'm coming home to visit my folks in Loris in March, so hopefully, I'll get some time to check things out.

| | | There are a lot of people on here that are in the charlotte area so that's perfect for the I-85 and I-77 destinations in SC.
I become capability. I become the horror. What we know we can become only in our heart of darkness. It's my gift. It's my curse. |

| | | I live in the Charleston area and would love to do some exploring around here. I'm new to the area and spend a lot of time traveling, but just hit me up sometime if anyone's ever down this way.

I might be down that way in a few weeks. A friend of mine who lives in Charleston says he knows the places worth checking out. On a side note, would anyone be interested in an SC mini-meet? I've heard the idea tossed around with other explorers at the university, but I'm not sure how much interest there would be.

| | | I'm from Charleston but am currently in Rock Hill and would love to know some cool places in the area. I think a mini-meet would be great, it would be fun to get to know others here in SC.

I live in Fort Mill during the summer. There seems to be more in Rock Hill than in Fort Mill, though I haven't had the time to check into most of it. There are, however, a number of explorers and sites in Charlotte.
