These are just some pictures I’ve got, noting too amazing. Any crits would be nice. These are from a few different places. These are really good, especially the second one. Surreal is the best way to put it.

You said it yourself, nothing too amazing by the standards of photography.

As far as improving them, I'd suggest a tripod or something else to keep your horizon lines level. This would also help with the blur I see in some of the shots which is more likely related to camera shake than depth of field since you're shooting these on a Powershot.

These seem like snapshots, so there isn't really much more to say. That isn't a bad thing though. Most of my UE related photos are still snapshots more than anything although my other photography has progressed far beyond that.

What I'd really suggest you do is start a website for what you do and write something to go along with these. When I got into this hobby I remember lots of websites... most of them were horribly designed, most of the photography sucked, but people wrote interesting reports of what they were doing to go along with their pictures. In your 4th picture... what's the story with the dude climbing the wall in the corner? What was this place? Anything exciting happen? If not, can you be sarcastic about what didn't happen? Where did the guy in #10 get that coat? What kind of equipment is in those racks in #16... etc... I want to know these things.

I've clicked on nearly every website in the worldwide links section and can only find a few good writeups anymore... it's all straight photography sites or godawful "Web 2.0" formatted crap. I'd rather see a 1992 geocities page designed by a 12 year old with <blink> tags all over than the current blog page style.

Anyway, what I'm ranting about is, these pictures will generally fail from a technical photo critique standpoint, but combined with the proper words could make a great website.

Either that or I'm slightly drunk.

Yeah, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. They’re basically snap shots (except for the first one). Really, I'm more interested in actually exploring than taking photos, but i do like to document what happens. A tripod would be nice, but it's to bulky for me to bother to bring it, so I have to put the camera on things, which doesn't always work too great.
Anyway, I like your idea of a website. I also enjoy reading about things like that more, and once I actually figure out how to do it, I probably will.
And to answer your questions, in the 4th pic, I was climbing up this wall, which proved to be more difficult than I thought, because on top of the roof, which i thought would be easy to grab onto, was a huge sheet of ice, which was scary/difficult to get over. it was this bizarre giant building, which i have no idea what it was/is used for. all i know is that it's covered with murals like the one, lots of weird things (an electric wheel chair, a toilet bowl not attached to anything, and a water fountain also not attached to anything) once there was an "official" party there (meaning it wasn't illegal).
The guy with the coat basically only wears clothes like that. I think he got at a thrift store, but I'm not sure. He also wears lots of woman's pants.
in 16, I’m pretty sure that they're servers. We climbed onto the top of the roof of an embarq building, and a door was open, so we went in. There were lots of rooms like that.

What exactly does this mean? It was the ix building, but we didn't go to the very bottom floor, if that's what you're wondering,

You're not the only one that shoots with a powershot.
Johnny Mnemonic I just got a a Canon Powershot A590 IS from Best Buy for $150, and I have to say I'm loving it
90rock A Canon Powershot 6 Megapixel should be just fine. Works very well for me.
AbandonedNH I took this trip before I got my Rebel, so all shots were taken with a Canon Powershot A540 with a broken viewing screen.
TheVicariousVadder I have a cheap P&S Canon 570IS.

I might upgrade or I might not even bother; wait until I get to college and borrow one from the university.
