|  | | | We've all come across the satanist graffiti. Praise satan logos, pentagrams, weird satanic symbols. Most of the time I just brush it off as kids fucking around while high on spray paint.
Other times, there's shit like dead animals, obviously killed on purpose by whoever was there. Now that scary devil writing doesn't frighten me, but knowing that there's people that go into abandonments for the purpose of skinning a cat or breaking a birds neck. I'm not saying it's necessary a fledgling serial killer, but it definitely throws you off when you find it... especially if the entire room is filled with weird graffiti about the DEBIL.
Have any of you ever come across a scene where you were like, "HOLY CRAP" and spidey sense went off and you got the hell out of there? Do you think real satanic rituals take place in these abandoned places or you think it's 100% kids just doing stupid shit?

This really is not that uncommon, and it's not something to be particularly worried about. There are much more problematic satanic groups like the one in Rochester that regularly tries to dig up bodies. Chances are if you run into a group of them, they'll freak out and run anyways.
I'm more concerned with the SANTAISM currently happening on UER.

Seems to be annoyingly common in WNY. Some guy got arrested a few years ago because his roommate came home to find him boiling a human skull. Apparently he had pulled it from a crypt and was trying to sanitize it so he could use it as a decoration.

I think of it as a personal comfort meter, maybe one guy see's nothing wrong with walking out on a rusted pipe over a dry wash 30 feet high over boulders but wont step a foot in a building with Diablo tagged on it. For me its poop and i dont care if its human or not, once i see poop my senses are on high and i lose the carefree feeling of being safe and alone.

I'm certain there are those who take literal satan worship seriously, but an abandoned building doesn't seem like a respectable place to conduct rituals, with spray paint nonetheless...
Now if I saw something extreme like, a horse nailed to the ceiling or human bits, I would be rather alarmed. But aside from that, the only thing would I worry about is security.

Anyway,Kubla Khan would be a better one to give an opinion about this but yeah,I'd say that 99% of the time,it's kids. I somehow doubt that Satanist would hang out in an abandoned location to perform rituals,but I could be wrong.

i totally agree, when people find out that i'm a satanist they IMMEDITILY assume that i'm some sort of devil worshiper or something  i personally find it offending that as soon as someone sees something like a dead animal with 666 above it they assume that it was done by a TRUE satanist, its just stupid kids trying to be bada$$ or something. its utterly sickening

Unless the abandonment is an ancient vineyard storing casks of rare and delicious wine, I'd guess it's kids doing 100% stupid shit.
Satanists are (generally) into personal gratification, and this usually involves a certain level of disposable income. Satanists are not likely to spend their time wallowing in abandoned buildings simply because it's an insult to their aesthetic sensibilities.

True story: driving down the Alaska hwy a few years ago, we decided to stop to blow a joint roadside and get some fresh air. We spotted a massive old barn-like thing and elected to stop there. It was quite late, but as it was mid-summer, the sky was a nice dusky deep blue. Made the place look extremely creepy, and after looking the place over for 10 seconds, we chose to skip the stop. MY spidey senses told me that a deranged serial killer had his work shop/laboratory/killing floor behind that innocent-looking barn door, or that perhaps a strange cult of cannibals had taken up residence, or that perhaps a tribe of bloodthirsty zombies were waiting to eat our brains. Seriously...every hair on my body stood on end, and that little voice inside my head (the one that gives me GOOD advice, not the one that gives me BAD advice) told me to get the fuck back in the car and drive away.

Anyhoo...the people who kill/mutilate animals in the name of Satan are really pissing Satan off. The plague he'll send these morons will come in the form of Jehovah Witnesses soliciting and/or offering Godly Wisdom™ during the dinner hour, and they will come every night on the hour every hour until the morons make a sizable donation to PETA or the SPCA.
