| | | Underground Ozarks finds another abandoned theme park - Camelot < on 2/16/2004 8:27 PM >
| | | Found another abandoned theme park called Camelot. It was a small renaissance-themed park that never really got off the ground. I'm embarassed to say I lived by 30 seconds away from this thing for years and never realized there was anything to it. The writeup's kind of boring, but I had to get in and out as the whole place is in sight of the owner's home. And apologies for the quality of the pictures, but it was low light and I was in too big a hurry to use a tripod. http://www.undergroundozarks.com/camelot.html --WR

| | | Heh...I actually liked the writeup, because I got the impression that you were quickly hopping from one tree to the next, while quickly taking a picture or two. Nice place. There's probably not a chance of actually entering one of those "castles"? You should wait for the owner to leave the place and then take a closer look of the "Camelot" [last edit 2/16/2004 8:38 PM by Kimmo - edited 1 times]

That's pretty much exactly the case. I kept looking over my shoulder at the house to see if anyone had come out.

I'm going to try and check out some of the buildings again some morning, but I gotta be careful. I mean, it's a horse field, but it's basically the guy's yard. His house its close to all of these buildings. I'm gonna do it sometime, though, because I'm really curious what's left inside some of them. --WR [last edit 2/16/2004 9:18 PM by White Rabbit - edited 1 times]
