Awesome location!

Ophie, Box, Lord Awesome, InfiniteEntropy and I went there Sunday after MAMU in Richmond this weekend. We had a great time, and they got some great shots! (I didn't have my camera, unfortunately) So you should hopefully see some good shots from there coming up in the MAMU threads.

There was a glowing glowstick when we were there (Sunday, Jan 4). Was that from anyone on here?

Sweet interior shots. I'll have to check that place out next time I travel down that way.

I lived here for two years as a child it sucked..... thank god its closed now.

This place is not great... its horrible. just seeing those painted pictures gave me nightmares.

This place tortured many kids on a daily basis. restraints medical restraints. "showers" that consisted of high pressure water directed at any sensitive part of your body. not to mention the abuse perpetrated on all of us in ward 7.

Burn the place down.

Well, that's probably the best for the future of DeJarnette. As it is, I'm surprised that it hasn't gone up in flames yet.

though the exterior of DJC was always pleasing to the eye, the inside always gave me the creeps. though i always like more modern medical structures/rehabs a lot less. the history and name of the place is also creepy. dejarnette was a creepy dude.
