9th Line house...a bit old.

Hey..I just dug up these pics of this house on 9th Line that I visited with a couple of people about two or three summers ago. It was in the middle of a new development sitting there on it's own in a big field of dirt...with no front door..so we decided to check it out. It's really nothing special but it has distinct wallpaper in one of the rooms, and i'd be curious to know if anyone else had checked it out! It was very obvious and out in the open.

...oh..and the entire house smelled of rotting squirrel. See image somewhere below: it's not that gross. As if any of us are squeamish anyways.

...shower, anyone?

Looks more like rotting cat. Then again, maybe there was a squirrel inside the cat. And a mouse inside the squirrel. Carrelouse.

Nice pics. If these pics are a few years old, then you must have been into this stuff for a while. Well congrats for you.

That place and its next door neighbor house are still there too. I think they're are part of Markham's heritage "plan" now. Otherwise, I'm sure the developers of that Box Grove area would have razed them years ago.

WOW..they're still there? It looked almost like they had begun demo on them when i was there that log ago..I'm shocked. It's neighbour house, we visited that one too but there was DEFINITELY someone living in there, so we hustled out very fast. Lots of clean clothes hanging from beams, a mattress made up with sheets..and even a toothbrush in a cup next to the bed with toothpaste. Super weird.

lol I just started like 2 months ago. I got a SLR camera and needed something to take photos of and I saw pics of Mamora Mine on Flickr, went there and then I found this place and it has gone on from there. Its fun and I enjoy it. I just hate driving anywhere but atleast gas prices are now down!

Woa, holy shit. I love it when there's local houses to see. For a few years, I always thought there aren't any abandoned houses around because the city hates explorers.

Nice pics man.
