This place?

It appears to have its own (rather prestigious) club, now:

yes that is the place, but the link you provided is useless, that club went under before the even started to remodel the place. the people who are referenced in that article haven't owned the place for almost 3 years. yeah the place goes through owners more often then most people change the oil in their cars. i'm most wondering if anyone has been in there lately

I find it interesting... ok, maybe somewhat unbelievable, that the German Socialist Party would even be in existence as such in 1913, or that it would be purchasing property in the US in 1913.

*shrugs*

Well, you could probably still contact that gina lady at that club, and ask her who bought it from her. Or you could call your local fire department and ask them who owns it, if it is abandoned. Or you could drive by.

I am guessing the problem is these would not be the National SocialisT German Workers Party ( Nazi's) which formed in 1919, but the more marxist type. There were lots of socialist movements in that time frame world wide.

I checked it out about a year ago, while on Christmas break actually. My understanding is that it's pretty beat up inside, the place got gutted but never remodeled, the club website is a joke, either a venture gone bad or just a front for something else. Either way be careful as police presence has "suposedly" been stepped up since after the fire, although I got out of the car, walked around the place, and poked around one of the pried of boards for a good 10 minutes until I got scared off by one of the ghosts (I'm jumpy when I'm by myself). No cops in sight, you could always ask one of the neighbors about the place, it's in a pretty good neighborhood.

Then it can't be painted as the Nazi Party who were clearly anti-communist of ANY flavour.
