Well I went out and met up with some fellow members and went to Edgar. It was an interesting place and definitely a interesting trip. Funniest thing was asking a member, "will I need to run at all?" "No, I don't run" Then seeing this person running for dear life lol.

All was going good until we were going to check out some kitchens or something. So we were in a building on the 2nd floor and Copysix went ahead, I then stood out of the way while Nex was taking a shot, I then asked Nex if it was ok to go on the roof and he said just stay against the wall, I went outside on the roof and saw copysix already on there coming down to go back inside from the roof, So took my 3 shots for HDR on the lower part of the roof and then I wanted to see if I could take a shot of the houses area on the upper roof so off I went. I wasn't able to see there were tree's in the way so I just took a shot of a building, turned around and started going back to the stairs to get to the lower roof when I herd something, turned and looked and saw the security SUV. I ran inside and told them and they said just stay away from the windows and wondering where he was, well I think he drove around the place slowly while we are looking everywhere for him, my heart at this point was pounding. Then Copysix looked out a window and saw him so we dashed to another part of the 2nd floor.
Then we couldn't see him so they started running towards the stairs that lead downstairs and while I was going down the stairs, I turned and looked back and saw the guy looking right at me from the other side of the hall through a door window that he couldn't get into as it was locked. We ran into the nearby bush and I hid behind a tree and them laying facedown on the ground. Since I was not laying down I was able to see that he drove to the corner of the building that we escaped from and was sitting there yelling, talking on a radio or cell phone and he was just standing there for 5-10 minutes. While we were waiting, I got a new nick name called "heatscore" and we just sat waiting. He then got in the SUV and drove away and we got up and left the premises.
Sorry I am not a good story teller and I might have even left a few parts out but it was some good fun!

We went out yesterday and were caught twice (the car was the giveaway). In both circumstances I spoke to the person and we were allowed to continue on our explorations.
You were on a 2nd floor and able to get to the roof? These were in the PMQ buildings? Change your name from 'heatscore' to 'Spiderman'
It sounds like there was a whole lot of urban exploration going on yesterday!!

I know there's a doorway that will take you to a rooftop, it's in the area of the phermacy building but I'm not sure what building. I'm not much of a heights person myself.
Spiderman was in reference to you being (potentially) able to climb out the 2nd floor window of one of the PMQ houses and onto the roof.
As for photos, I have 190 of them but they need to be transferred, resized and post-processed first. The day began to get dark about 3:00pm as it was largely forcast to rain across Ontario. It still allowed for decent photos but by 5:00pm we were preparing to leave. If it were summer, we would have gone on to another location for sure.
The sky began to sprinkle approximately 5:00pm and by 6:00pm it was coming down hard.

| | | | I don't know what the PMQ buildings are so I cannot help you there but you just jump out the window and you land right on the roof, anybody who can climb, could get onto the roof.
I took about 260 photos yesterday all in raw but in Bridge, I just hit the auto button and then resized, no major post processing. I can't wait to see your photos. I thought it was going to be a rainy day also but as you can see from the pics, it was nice and sunny. The rain never came until about 2 pm today

thanks! i do notice that seems to happen sometimes -- people with cameras seem to 'see' the same shots i guess.
