ok, yay it's like a treasure hunt...marcellus (both casket and place) is west so i take it is not that, i guess i will just have to go down there, find the north star and wander from there...

well marcellus (yes that's west) is a given, but i think you were talking about someplace else, in which case i figured it out, its a playground that way, several stops to make.

The map place is definitely doable, I scoped it out last night. But the railway station really looks interesting, I'm surprised a couple of people on here have said it's not that great!

map place is more than doable, its wide open. I guarantee you that if you snooze on it, the place will be unexplorable come next year as the flooding is horrible. However, the best room is the 2nd story office, the carpet is positively disgusting!

As for the RR thing, there's just nothing to it. It has nothing to do with the half-active building next door.

its much easier to go and play in there for 40 minutes than to question what could or could not be in there.

No snoozing, we'll check it out. Also the old Van Duyn building (S-1), and it's tunnels are calling....

van dyn (sp?) would be ideal, my father used to work there, could probably give me floor plans and it would just be awesome!

let me know when you want to go...

Sounds good. By then I should have the way in to the old Sears bldg. It's being rented by a medical record archive company right now. I went into it a little way two weeks ago, and was told that the boss would let us in even without bribery! And maybe you could give another hint about the underground place off of I-81. I think it's right next to the exit.

I volunteered at Van Duyn a while back, and have been in some of the tunnels. It's a great old building, but still partially in use with offices. Floor plans would be nice!

that's funny, because I got chased off property at the sears building. Oh, and the underground thing, well, that's an in-person story to tell away form public boards
