Cheers.
This weekend me and a friend, who is in the navy, took a stroll on Hisingen Island. On a cape the military use for training we had been told we could find a ship.
After passing signs that warned us about the fact that the military uses live rounds during their drills, tripping on a slippery rock and almost hitting my head on another rock, marching through a marsh and running into a chair someone left at his/hers favorite spot we finally reached our target: a stranded ship.

That's a seriously cool find. There's tons of old ships around here in Finland, but there's nothing really stranded or beached. There's an old shipyard in Vaasa though that may be worth trying to get into at some point. Only problem is it's getting really cold now.

Nice light in the photos too by the way, I like the color processing.

Do i hear a native Finn complain about cold? ;)

There is not much processing done on the photos actually, mainly since i am not that skilled with the softwares available.
The second photo is HDR (the sky and the blurry reed kind of gives that away i guess) and the others has manipulated brightness, contrast and higher "blacks", mostly the fourth one.

Nah you don't hear a native finn complaining about the cold, I'm an exchange student here from New York for the entire year. I've been here since August. I don't think too many exchange students realise how fortunate a chance it is for exploring though, brand new country to explore! There's an awesome old factory around here that I've been casing out recently, so I'm going to try and get in soon.

The second photo is HDR? I don't think it's obvious at all, it's well done. Nice stuff.
