Local School

I was driving around near my house the other day and noticed what appeared to be an abandoned school up off the road. Looked too new to be abandoned but I figured it was worth a stop. I parked, walked around back, and got right in! The last calender inside was dated for the spring of 2002 so that is when I am assuming it was closed. However, it still had power which was a little eerie.

Nope. Lumber country. Actually, just country. This is about 5 miles outside the closest town.

Strange they would keep the power on for that long unless it is for insurance reasons. Pretty untrashed for not being used for 6 years.

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.

Newswatch 16 covers Lycoming, Columbia, Northumberland, Sullivan counties and a few others as well I believe. All of the locations in this area that I have explored have been graffiti free. Ranging from 10-20 years abandoned to just this most recent one. I love it. We were playing with the central clock system that was still running in the office. We could mess with the date and time... It took so much self control not to pull the fire alarm and see if it was still hooked up.

The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark.
