Does anyone know of any good spots to check out in the Kingston area? I'm thinking the old cop stop down by the water, but not sure where else.

When I was in Kingston a few weeks ago that place was sealed up super tight.

Lots of good shipwrecks, both shallow & deep, in Lake Ontario.

Canadian Forces Base Kingston has some areas that you could accidently get lost in while looking for their communications-electronics museum.

The old Canadian Coastguard Cutter that's permanently moored at the harbor.. excuse me, harbour (Olympic Harbour, or is it the other one?) & open as a museum/motel has some off-limits areas that were UE'able as of 2001.

Isn't one of the prisons there shut down now? There's always some off-limits areas of the small, original prison that's now a museum, but UE'ing there is very contemptuous.

Then of course there's the University.

I had many great three-day weekends up in Kingston doing some shipwreck diving several years in a row, until I moved to California from Michigan.

Yes,

Prison For Women is shut down, unoccupied, and accessible to those with a little creativity.

There's a great abandoned motel about halfway between kingston & gananoque on the north side of highway 2.

I put some photos online http://www.flickr.com/photos/davidh/.

I did the motel last week, quite surprised to see the back doors all off and lots of stuff still there.

Being shooting relics lately.
