I'm sure a number of you have seen it or already been there personally, but for those who don't know, Route 11 in Salem ends here and for the time being, remains abandoned. While not incredibly exciting, it does lend itself to being interesting. It's a nice place to bike/walk/hike and does provide so opportunities for photographs, at least in the bridge area. The most notable attributes are the overgrown overpass structures, deserted on/off ramps and of course the deep, routed ledge. If you're into photographing discarded human junk, there's a bunch of that too. Drainage areas are blocked with large rocks or structures so I am not sure what, if any, exploring can be had there if you are into draining. Parking can be had near the DOT salt shed on the side of the road. In fact, some parked vehicles can be seen in the Sat. photo.
