Wow that's a lot of pics. be prepared to hear a lot of bitching from people with slow connections.

I like the one of the frog on the plastic lid, It reminds me of the "great pacific garbage patch"(look it up on youtube)

Is that all one place?

you must have been pretty thirsty to rip that poweraid machine open like that.

I am always and forever amazed at the amount of stuff left behind. So many people go w/out and these places just leave it to be smashed or stolen. Heck, at least the thieves will make some use of it.

You betcha

Yes, all the same place. We spent about 3 hours inside.
Someone(s) went through all the machines in the place.

Awesome stuff. I've yet to check out any abandoned hotels, but I've discovered a few in my area lately, so it's definitely on my list of things to do.

Damn that looks just like the Family Inn off of I-75 close to Lake City that my family stayed in for a few weeks after we sold our house in Norris almost 10 years ago. They probably all look similar though, where is this one at?

Oh my gosh. I had no clue that place was abandoned.. It looks horrible. Im surprised its still up. I have driven past it before. Are you "breaking" into these places?.. I would think it would be pretty hard to get into. Then again its not like the place isnt already torn apart.

That was what I was about to say! I drive along Interstate 75 frequently, and wanted to drive up to check out the Christmas Tree Inn, but I still have not. Interesting that there is an abandoned Family Inn though... not many of them left.

amazed they left things like the bill readers (judging by the pics)... those are almost worth more than the entire rest of the machine.. cool location though

its in the database in Caryville, TN. I took pics right after they shut it down, but I didn't go in. It was locked up pretty tight.

Since all the air-conditioners have already ben taking out I'd assume that they're preparing the site for demolition.

Nice explore.
