I found this video about whether or not there's a basketball court in the matterhorn ride. It looks like a really cool place, but the only way you're getting in there is if you've got mad ninja stealth.

a LONG time ago I did the back lot of Disneyland by walking calmly through a door a costumed character had just exited, before it shut.

the back lot is pretty busy and I didn't look out of place at all, until I noticed everyone but me had some form of badge or pass clipped on their clothing. it was a long time ago but i think i walked the circuit around the back of frontierland and exited somewhere by Big Thunder Mountain.

big props to you making it into some of these places recently though, i hear security has gotten really, really tight there.

Rumor has it there is a underground bomb shelter underneath main street, I've looked all over a bit and have no idea where a entrance would be.

Current night custodial person here

Just looking at some more hidden stuff at Disneyland. Anyone ever been to Club 33?, the place where it costs like thousands to join, and the only place in the park where alcohol is served. It's right next to the blue bayou restaurant. I was thinking you could maybe climb up the balconies on new orleans square and get in the windows. But I would probably never attempt that, it just sounds fun.

I could tell you guys about it and show some pics, but club rules specifically frown upon that and i could lose my membership.

NIGHT CUSTODIAL! that is the best job to have. i was day custodial and transferred into night custodial. 95% of the time i was exploring. i used to do kitchens, half ass it in 2 hours and go explore. i doubt you will find a bomb shelter but just keep opening doors and climbing ladders, you will find some cool places.

club 33 isnt all that, i was kind of dissapointed.

I really love hoe this thread keeps popping up. I think I have my work cut out for me next time I visit. Def. need to check out the basketball court.
Whan I was there some people won a free nights stay at Walt disney's personal sweet in the park. while snooping around at about 3:oo in the morning I found this door. sorry about the quality, but i remember the sign saying something like..."Do not open door with key ALARM WILL SOUND, and something along the lines of special guests are staying here tonight.

And yes, this was right next to the blue bayou restaurant. I was going to climb the roof, but this sign made me change my mind.

Now that I look back on it I'm pretty shure they were "fun" lasers and not the security kind.

As for climbing onto the balconies in the new orleans area, that would be very possible. I spent the night here..

Standing up in one spot all night. I was going to catch a few winks but unforseen problems came up, mainly rats, rats everywhere as soon as the park closed. I really wanted to slip onto one of those balconies and get some quality sleep, but upon further inspection i noticed a lack of spiderwebs and healthy thriving potted plants. A clear sign that somebody was up there regulary.
I have no idea when I can make it back as I live in Virginia, but I promise to be much more through when I return. Maybe even bring a few more people.
I'm also surprised nobody has asked about any entry details, I just heard people talk about how much money they spent. I know discussing is a bid no no. but I'll say this, I'm about 6' tall and about 185lb. and still had a little wiggle room to get through the hole. or a pretty simple jump from about 15 ft into some bushes will also do the trick.
please keep all the ideas comming, not shure when I'll be back but when it happens I will deffinetly bring my balls and a much better camera.

A special about that and some other tunnel systems was on the Disney World YouTube webpage. -- It was pretty awesome, and they went in-depth on everything there is about secrets and such for DL and DW.

How come you were sitting alone? And how come everyone else looks like they are from the 80's?

clearly all of those people are undercover park agents all wondering what the fuck is this dude doing and where does he keep disappearing to? =]

awesome explore but you need a costume to access the rest, maybe SnowWhite or Mulan. no-one ever questions them.. and if you can look exactly like Indiana Jones you won't have to do much in a change of wardrobe

As an ex-Cast Member, I can tell you there's no "underground city" or anything like that. There's maintenance tunnels all over and some below-ground break areas. It's really not THAT exciting. ;)

Be careful with overnighters, though - the park is never really 100% closed. There's always staff there. I can remember pulling a few 16 hour shifts up til 4am the next day.

You can walk around in the back in plain clothes and not get stopped. Just look like you are there for a reason. Good luck!
