You have to walk up a little dirt path to get to the top. I have it as an annual event with my buddies. Last year, we camped out during the meteor shower (never before have I been in an area with such a clear sky) with marshmallows to roast over the cracks, a laptop to watch Silent Hill on, a bottle of absinthe, homemade sangria, a pizza, and all sorts of misc. goodies. Centralia ain't the most exciting place in the world to some people, but if you have good people with you, I'm sure it will be epic.
