Grey and old

A tomb is first name, a history linked to our environment and sometimes
a big name like Vieuxtemps, David, or Simonis.
Then a work of art, often small, sometimes grandiose.
It finally reflects a mentality, the mentality of a family, but also the mentality of an era.
And the nineteenth century has left in our cemeteries indelible marks.

Here is a little view.
Hope you like them.

Dude! I love them. The grain kicks ass, and I love the shallow DOF.
I have been wanting to shoot a set in the same mood, perhaps I have been motivated. Set almost reminds me of something from Peter Seville and the Joy Division work.

it's sometimes hard to photograph a cemetery and have it not come out generic and boring. but these are really, really, really pretty. i think that grainy black and white is the best way to photograph a cemetery.
i can't even pick a favorite.

I'm admittedly not a big fan of graveyard photography but you have done an excellent job here, seriously! almost makes me wanna go out and shoot dead people.

Kinda redundant, no? It's like beating a dead horse until the horse is dead.

Ok, serious now...I really am inspired by your shots, and I will promptly head to the nearest salvation lot and pray for good photos.
