Norton's Brook: Expedition in Rochester
I'll be leading an expedition to Norton's Brook on July 20th and would like to extend an invitation to anyone who might like to join the team.

Our goal is to make it past this point and much much further:

Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks!
Whittiker

Gah!

I'll be in Canada during that week. Push it back a week!

Wow that looks pretty cool. A couple questions, did you ever figure out how to get a across the pool (from a different thread of yours)? What about a ladder?

Oh what type of footwear? Big rubber boots or hiking boots if you can walk/jump on rocks all the way?

I'm not sure if I can make it, but I'm very interested. It'd also be nice to meet some Roc UE'ers. I usually only go with a couple close friends that don't even know what UE is. I'll try to let you know closer to the date.

There's actually a possibility I'll be in NY then, if so I definitely would want to go.

I read your comment as you implying that I'm not a full member because of my handle. Please let me know if I'm wrong here, as reading out of context happens often on the Internet. So you know, I have not yet pursued full member status on UER. I was simply trying to get across a point that in a thread with both full members and non-full members participating, posting links to only full member material hinders the conversation. That is all.

As for my handle, it's something I've been using for over 10 years and I enjoy having the same logon name for most of my accounts. I'm sorry if you don't think it's cool. My handle is not intended to be cool.

I am genuinely interested in this thread, so please lets both stay on the thread starters topic and keep this thread from getting locked.

Thank you.

EDIT: Hey man sorry for our little misunderstanding there. On other forums I've been attacked for using this handle. To me your comment read like one of those attacks as well. But if you're just messing around, thats cool. No damage done.

So how about that drain? What an awesome drain it is...

Rubber boots for sure. No jumping on those rocks. I wore hiking boots and slipped about and then took the big splash. End result was not good.

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.
