Oh, it was shot with a Canon 40D near Creemore Ontario, with a pol filter. HDR was done with CS3

| | | | It's how you should use HDR, just to get more details in the spots where there aren't that many in a 1 exposure - shot. Only thing I would fix are the purple lines created around the branches in the right top corner.

I see that someone mentioned the fringing in the top right, but there is fringing all over the place. The colour of the grass and the chimney is surreal and not in a good way. This could be an interesting subject, but the ridiculous colours take away from that.

| | | | As for the photo, the branches are distracting and the levels could be adjusted a bit to make things pop a bit more. Hit auto-levels and you'll see what I mean.
I'd also turn down the saturation to help make it a bit more realistic.

Micro, I focused on the partially aspect. If you have problems seeing certain colours the answer may be black and white photography.
The branches bothered me too. I just didn't want to be an overwhelming asshole. Again, I think this is an interesting subject and the branches detract from it. Those branches in the top left, for example, are very easily removed and just removing those would be an improvement.
Keep on taking pictures. The insults may sting, but they will help.

I laughed at the stick to black and white photography comment. I can still see colour, just not the same way as everyone else.
Anyways, when I get a chance in the next couple days I'll try to redo it with the comments you guys gave and see what comes of it.

The purple borders are worth pointing out, but that is serious nitpicking that probably wouldn't happen if we didn't know this was an HDR. How many exposures are in this shot? Did you paint the layer masks by hand, or do something more automated?
