When I'm driving I usually yell:
MA=Massholes! or Massaholics (for drunks with MA plates)
CT=Connecticu*n*ts
NY=FsckingLost
RI=RoadunInsured
I live in the middle of fields and woods and the thing that pisses me off the most is when people come up from Hartford and crap and will drive like 30 (in the 45) but the minute they get the next town over which is densely populated and patrolled heavily by cops they have no problem blowing through there at 50-60 (in the 25 SCHOOL Zone)... pisses me off 0.o
[edit for clarity]: I suppose it's because where I live they are afraid of the country; though if there is two state cops in town at the same time they're over budget. But when they get somewhere that looks like someplace (with city and state cops) they feel the urge to speed
But Yes we are angry, arent we?

I've heard we have a bit of that up in the mountains, too. Complete with ghost mining towns.
As for insane drivers, Highlands Ranch drivers are mental cases. Our theory behind that is that 90% of them are transplants from SoCal.

Why do you think there were so many freaking insane asylums and mental hospitals here? If you added up all the beds in all the kirkbrides I would bet it's (was) the highest per capita in the nation.
Now they are gone and all of us crazies are out on the road, driving like aholes and startin shiat!

I grew up in the east and can tell you it's way easier to get through your day out west, people are so chill and laid back. It's especially nice when it comes to work environments. You should refrain from grouping California as a whole group, All the crazy people live in LA. The rest of the state is actually quite normal. More liberals than I like to see but whatever, they just don't know any better.

well i don't enjoy southern california, but northern is right fine by me. of course its best to taste a flavor before deciding you don't like it. never thought i'd be into south dakota...but it is by far my most favorite state to visit.

I love how CT drivers tailgate just for the sole purpose of tailgating. I get out of the way for them and they don't go past.
NYers just drive stupid,angry and fast. Jersey drivers are nuts.
California is too laid back for me, after a day there I was craving for road rage and some good old fashioned NY hostility.

I noticed that too! It was so weird...4 or 5 lanes of traffic all travelling at 70 mph like everyone was locked in position. Not a single person weaving in and out or going fast. I was behind a guy not passing in the far left lane with no one in front of him for maybe 5 miles. I finally flashed my lights...he got over but flipped me off BIGTIME like I was some kind of psychopath. Really weird.
