In between Little Falls and Long Prairie, Minnesota

Some friends and I were camping in between Little Falls and Long Prairie Minnesota when suddenly we came apon an abandoned barn.

The unique thing about this barn was that it was several miles from any road, we had hiked about 3 miles from our campsite to get here. Anyways, I didn't have a camera with me the first time I found the place, but I got one and came back the next day. It was raining and storming so some of the pictures are dark, also I didn't go on the second floor of the barn simply because I didn't think it would be able to hold my weight, and with the wind blowing the way it was I didn't feel very safe under the barn either. Here is the pics..

This next one is a picture of a crazy tree I found next to the barn, which is on your left. Also the open grass there was used for cows before, and that's why there aren't any trees in that area.

Cool.

Whoever owns the place seems to still be mowing part of the grass.

Yeah I have no idea why some of it seems to be mowed, we just found the place in the middle of no where.

It might be that cows ate it if it's on a dairy or beef farm. They're like nature's lawnmowers.

You can tell by one of the above pictures that it was mowed.

Cool old barn, Max!

Thats what I like about driving around in the country, you can just find little abandonments along the roads.
