Thanks for the morning lol. And also, the photos are well done as usual, although the two colour shots look really out of place amongst the toned/bw ones. #1, 3, 8 and 11 are very strong composition-wise, the rest are not really strong compared to many of the photos I've seen from you. I would love to see #3 in colour, just to see what the floor tiles and wallpaper looked like in person.
yep. |

Ha! I wanted to see 1 larger, so I went to your flickr.
The growth is amazing and so is your picture. The only thing that bothers me is that circle 3/4s of the way up. It looks like dirt on the sensor to me at first. I know it isn't, but once I got that idea in my head it wouldn't leave. Anyhow, wonderful pictures, sugarbum.

We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |

Thanks don_corleyone - good to hear!

Hmm, hard to describe...a few of these just don't seem to be quite as unique as most of your photos. They've got style, well done, processing is nice, they just don't really impact me at all. Maybe it's the familiar subject matter? Probably I've just seen too many asylum photos over the past couple years. Or maybe they just don't look European enough.

| | | you could be right in saying this hospital looks a bit more familiar to your (U.S.) asylums. well...good news for you...there's gonna be some great "european" stuff up here in a while. I did a road trip with Bartje to east germany and we hit a lot of great stuff....hope that's european enough

LOL WAT?
| | | | Re: ........................... <Reply # 14 on 6/12/2008 3:36 AM >
| | | Wow. That 1st shot is OMG amazing. The color and composition are right on. #3 is also kick ass but I think I'd like to see it in color. I think I remember seeing a set from this place from someone else recently and I remember the wall paper having some great colors. I also really like the suitcase shot, the only thing I would have done would be to move the cloth at the bottom left of the shot. Glad to hear you and Bartje had a good trip, I wish I was still over there.
