I personally quite like this, only issue I've got with it is the rocks and gravel in the bottom left corner, it's all really blown out. I'm sure you've got a shot in there where it's exposed better that you could mask over that or something.
Other than that, I rather like it, good work.

I agree, unless you tone it right it looks to crazy. I like subtle HDR so it just looks vibrant.

Yeah I agree, unfortunately the rocks are bright white and I don't have a less exposed shot of them.

Thanks I am trying real hard to get panoramas down. This is the 6th one that I have done maybe 7th and it is only the 2nd that I find acceptable at all.

| | | | It's good to hear that you're working hard at trying to figure them out - I personally haven't even attempted one yet, beyond fiddling around with an old panoramic film camera I found in my basement.
Shame to hear about the rocks though, that's really the only part of the shot that bugs me, except for maybe the generic train-car subject... but even then, it's a subject made for panos.

Did you use a real pano head or a straight tripod? One of the hard things is rotating the camera without getting paralax errors, if it's rotated around the normal mount point instead of the entrance pupil of the lens.

| | | | Love it! Great job, both on the photography and the Photoshopping! Especially with panos and HDRs, the amount of time you put into the Photoshopping really does make a huge difference. If you hadn't said, I never would have known this was pano or HDR.

The funny thing is that I usually shoot panos handheld, this one was. Crazy right? I seem to match it up better than when on a tripod. I do not have a pano head but i think that I am gonna eventually get one.

I don't know what camera you are using, but here is the biggest trick that I learned. You have to have a constant focal length ( manual focus mode ) and the same white balance ( manual or set to outdoor, indoor, etc. ), the same exposure and f-stop are important as well. I also use Photoshop to stitch them together.
But white balance and focus are the most important.

| | | | First off, you don't need hdr for this photo, it's just a waste of time and disk space. Image > Adjustments > Shadow/Highlight would give you the same glowing foreground effect with much less effort and time involved. Also, if you've got blown-out areas like the gravel, you're not bracketing enough to truly create high dynamic range - which is kinda the point of hdr. You've still only got maybe 6 stops of dynamic range in this image, which means you're using hdr as a special effect and not a tool - in which case the shadow/highlight tool is a faster and easier special effect if that's how you're choosing to use it.
As for the pano aspect: not bad, although shooting a horizontal subject straight on will always make things look really 'fisheyed.' Aside from composition though, the technical part is pretty dead-on. Try changing your projection from cylindrical or auto to perspective (assuming you're using photoshop to create the pano). It might help this particular image a bit, although you'll be cropping a fair bit off the end images.
And the subject matter - the car on the left is passable, but the one on the right is weak, and one of them's not even finished yet. Unless your point was to show graf in an ugly light, in which case, cool.
As far as pano heads go, this kind of subject matter doesn't need one. It's only when you're shooting scenes with multiple planes that you need to start worrying about nodal points. For flat, single-plane scenes like this, there's no need. Keep at them, it's a useful trick to have up your sleeve once you really get your technique nailed down.
