| | | One of my latest visits was a hospital, due to people waiting in the car I only had like a half hour to get everything shot. The photos have been made with a 5D and as usual the 17-40 from canon attached to it. 1

In search of the city beneath

| | | #2 has some pretty stunning geometry. Is #4 selectively desaturated? Each time I look at it, I can't quite tell whether the colour has been tampered with or not. It seems like 4 is a bit off-center as well, the bottom and right side seem to have too much empty space to my eye. #6 would've made an amazing HDR shot, or even just bracketing/masking it to keep the windows from being so violently blown out. Looks like a pretty awesome location, and for only having half an hour you managed to pull off a great set - I know I would get maybe one or two images that turned out with that much time... too much gawking and exploring to remember to take the shots.

| | | #2 is your best shot. I love the lines and the way ones eyes go all over the photo. #5 is very eerie. I can imagine waiting there, or people waiting there hoping for good news. It doesn't look like an old building - do you know why it was abandoned?

| | | @Ghostboy: They build a new hospital for this and another hospital in the area, after moving in 2005 it stood there untouched. @umbra: there hasn't been tampered with the colour, all the images are processed the same. I think that using hdr on the 6 picture would have made it less clean looking and the outside wasn't really interesting I can tell you ;) Thanks both

| | | The lighting is great, also it was a good choice to go black and white. Some of the angles make the photos a little confusing but they're nice none the less.

B&W? I do add a little sepia toning in the photos but no black & white. Thanks for the compliment btw
