|  | | | I am looking for a few urban explorers/film makers to join me in putting together a small Urban Exploration themed film festival in mid-to-late July (2008).
Candidates should have short, artistically crafted videos on DVD, and be available to attend the screening (Lambertville, NJ) and answer questions (READ: living within a reasonable driving distance of the Philly/Trenton area).
All SHORT (under half-hour) urban exploration or related documentary-type videos will be considered.
I am an amateur film-maker who has access to a full-fledged auditorium with kick-ass video projection and Dolby surround sound right in historic downtown Lambertville, NJ. It will be a free event.
To give you an idea, I will be showing these two films of mine:

Sorry for the short notice. So far, this is just an idea. I am not 100% sure this will happen. I am exhibiting my UE photos in Lambertville this July and it would be nice to put this together. It largely depends on the response I get here. I have contacts in the local media and can get good media coverage if it does.
Please submit links to YouTube etc. versions of your videos below, or PM me for an address to mail your DVD. If I like what I see I'll be in touch. Thanks!!

Either way, I need to find film makers who do this sort of thing. I'm starting to think film making and UE are almost totally incompatible.
Any film makers who live close enough - or are willing to drive - to the greater Trenton/Philly area are welcome to submit.

I don't think they're incompatible. The medium seems just as good if not a better way of documenting a location as static pictures. With the exception of your pennhurst video I've never seen anyone step up and do a good job with it.

If you are serious in having a festival, you need to broaden the terms of the festival and make it so that the video or filmmakers won't have to travel to see it. If you are willing to do that, post the call for entries on Rhizome.org, unXposed and other lists, you'll get more replies

I know i have a copy of it on a hard drive but its mac formated and i only have a pc at the moment  . If i find the dvd or a mac sometime in the near future i'll be sure to post it
