Oh my God, what? That's horrendous...I didn't realize you could be allergic to poison ivy on top of it just causing a rash. Damn! Get well soon.

Damn Pez hope you are feeling better soon.

I'm overly dramatic online AND I only explore for validation. I'm a double threat.

Thanks. Getting much better now. My arms are still the worst, and kinda look like I'm recovering from second degree burns. I'll have to be more careful in the future, I'm too allergic to take a chance.

Sounds good. Me and a few friends are going up to a few places in GB and the Raleigh area on the 12th. If your going to be around and want to join or if you don't mind check out the water plant.

on a Monday? Let me know what time and I'll see where I'm at or at least give you a heads up on the status of the water plant.

There is a old industrial building in the North Davidson district right down from the neighborhood theater. I haven't been in yet but have noticed it several times when i am in that area. it looks like there may be some other options in that area. let me know if you all are meeting up any time soon.

Yeah, I'd like to see what building you're talking about in NoDa...I'm up there all the time, but most of the places around there are being renovated or closely watched by the police, at least in my experience.

Interesting.

Looks like it may be vacant but maintained from map views. Very few parking spaces for such a large building. Do you already know what it was in the past. I see there is a power generation section and a water tower still?

Yep, those are the ones I was thinking of....they're already in the DB: http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=26110

The area is busy and cops take notice but entrance is way easy if you can avoid being seen, and I don't think there are any alarms. I've been behind both buildings, they are huge but seem pretty trashed. The one on the right in the Google image is way vacant, the one on the left more recently empty. I don't think the water tower has to do with the buildings.

Someone call me/message me or something if you go out there, I'll tag along...heck, I might be in the neighborhood already if it's the weekend.

Oh so that's the old school. The building did look like a school in birds eye view but the neighborhood just seemed industrial.

It's not an industrial neighborhood currently, although I think it used to be--there's a HUGE old cotton mill up the road being converted into apartments. It's an artsy district now, much as Charlotte has anything art related.
