| | | These aren't amazing, but I enjoy them. I've been learning to print black and white and have been working through a large backlog of medium format that I can't scan in and that I never had printed before. These were all taken with a Mamiya C330 with the 55/4.5 lens.
This one is from Michigan Central Station. It was taken just shortly before dogs chased me out. I would like to print it again with a little more contrast and perhaps to burn some of the stuff in the left corner. You can't see it here, but the headline of the Time magazine on the floor is "Does God Exist?"
Here's another from Michigan Central Station. This is the first area I saw upon entering. As I wiggled through my entrance I made way more noise than I wanted to and I was sure some crazed homeless guy was going to club me and eat my brains. They do that!
This is an abandoned power tunnel somewhere in the Twin Cities. The hangers on the arch used to hold enormous power cables.
I took this one from a broken window in a skyway at the Packard plant in Michigan. From the first drive I drove around the enormous complex the skyway was my holy grail. When some Detroit explorers and I infiltrated the place we spent some quality time looking for it, but were having awful luck. The first building was not very well connected to the others. A dog chased us away from our second entrance (I seem to have bad luck with dogs when exploring the Detroit area). Finally, we found a different entrance from which we were able to gain access to the area with the skyway.
This is a large (about 10 feet in diameter) tunnel that we found leading away from the foundations of a demolished building at the Packard Plant. We did not explore the entire tunnel system, but it did not seem to actually go into any of the buildings we found.

| | | I like this shot, but it seems a little tilted and I think cropping out the hole in the foreground would bring more attention to the pillars and arches.

It is definitely a little tilted. I don't think I exercised enough caution when printing it. Also I definitely agree about the hole in the foreground. It's likely that I'll crop it next time around and then print the rest at closer to a full 8x10. Printing square format annoys me a little.

| | | One of the coolest pics I ever took with my old point and shoot digital. Some of you out there may recognize the location. Resized so it could fit the limit, but the original is often my desktop background on this computer.
Just bought a Canon A-80, so expect some better stuff once it become more pleasant outside (today is the coldest day ever in the history of North Dakota, seriously...). [last edit 1/28/2004 9:43 PM by Heartless - edited 1 times]

Some were low res, some high, overall my resizing didn't do them justice, but I'm no photographer. Dukes
