Greater thermal leakage on the power leads/electrodes will reduce it's efficiency. The larger the bulbs tend to be more efficient as less energy is wasted by lost thermal energy. The break point is about 400 watts for MH bulbs. I also question their definition for "lumens"; those specs are vague. The size is interesting, but LED technology isn't as complex to use, less of a fire hazard, and has a longer life, and a more constant light output across it's lifespan. LEDs will continue to improve and drop in price. Xenon arc lamps are the standard for CRI; 99% and very efficient for a CRI this high.
