Kansas City Urban Exploring (Pics)

I just recently got interested in urban exploring recently after me and my girlfriend went and visited the Menninger Clinic in Topeka Kansas. After that, I did my research, jammed several bookmarks into some websites, and went to Lowe's to stock up on equipment. A few hours of research, a wad of cash, and a several days later I find myself with a decent amount of exploration under my belt. Just a week from my first expedition, I have many pictures to share with all of you.

My first encounter with Urban Exploring was checking out the old grounds of the Menninger Clinic. After that, the next notable sight was the old Kansas City Stockyards, whose locations I found thanks to this website. And lastly, an incredible visit to an old abandoned warehouse in the Blue River area.

If anyone has any tips of places to explore in the area near Kansas City Kansas or Missouri, I would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise, enjoy the pics and I am glad to be a part of this community.

The clinic looks as if it could still be used and is in really good shape. The stockyards are dirty as heck and the warehouse is cool but looks like it could be a sketchy place to visit late at night.

The inside of the clock tower is awesome. You should try to get in it.
