| | | Ok so whats the deal with private forums. Are they regulated? Watched? If so does that mean the rules of the normal forum apply to these such as dont give out specific info?

| | | The owner (creator) of the private forum also moderates it. The owner/creator also controls who can view the board (admins can always view the board, no matter what). You can say pretty much whatever in there, but remember that all admins can view the board. But normal forum rules should apply, this is a grey area to me.

| | | Moderators can view the forums and post in them, although they do not have regular moderator powers in them unless they created the board themselves. The boards are not visible to anyone else, so if you feel comfortable sharing info with the people on your board, that is your choice and your risk.

| | | moderators/admins keep a lazy eye on the PFs, but they don't ususally do anything there except notify Av if something needs to be done. Normal admins'mods don't have admin priveleges in PFs.

| | | I'd also just like to ask how you delete private boards? I made a test one and I don't know how to get rid of it.

| | | Um, admins can delete boards? News to me. Maybe because it says "mod" under my name instead of "admin", but who knows. The two are used somewhat interchangably around here. Would you be so kind as to compare/contrast admin and moderator for me and the rest of the class some time, Av?

| | | arg, sorry. i kind of use admin and mod interchangeably. they should mean the same thing. one day you admins will be able to delete them, but right now such a feature is not done. so i basically do it manually in the database. my post should have read "ask me"
