Am I wrong in being frustrated to tears with that kind of attitude? This guy isn't even just talking about tagging the place as a whole, but individual features within it, and assumes that any other visitors would have done the same.
It's worth noting that this particular drain has a historical feature that had been left alone until recently, when the vandals took to it in force.
It also gets a little frustrating to look at yet another of your drain photos, and realise your main point of interest is the giant penis scrawled on the wall.
I'm just ranting, I have no solution, just thought I'd share with the group.

If you're concerned about the state of play in Australia, I'd recommend discussing things with Cave Clan and going from there. Or at least join the private Drainers' Forum on this site. The unanimous moral support of a bunch of North American abandonment photographers isn't going to get you very far, though it may feel good for a second or two.
