Then again, concrete - if it's really nice, REAL concrete - it's fucking solid. For sure. I think someone who built that type of structure probably used good techniques and materials. And the price - that's fucking sweet. Where I live, a two bedroom house can be that much. Building your own would be much more rewarding. Plus now that you've read that, you could like, totally steal the idea and plan haha I also didn't read that it's nuclear, just a bomb shelter. Nuclear shelters would have to have much more strict filtration. In Sunnyvale, they are consistently asking for 1 mil for three to four bedroom houses (tiny, tiny houses). I hate Sunnyvale. Apparently there is a push currently for truly affordable housing to be built in Silicon valley, pushing housing prices down to the national average. The prices in Napa and Santa Rosa are actually somewhat acceptable - 400 - 500,000 for four to five bedroom house in parts. I was thinking exactly the same thing about this house.
