But that one rapist or whatever he did was banned. And vandals is much less of a offense than say... severely disrespecting corpses.

i agree with that. i can't really explain it, but i have a great respect for the dead, to the point that i will rarely speak ill of them. and that's something that has definitely been lost on a lot of the people in my generation. but not only is what he did disrespectful to the person's body, but it's disrespectful to the family and friends of the deceaced. vandals just deface property which can easily be cleaned up and repaired. i know i'd probably beat someone within an inch of their life if they did this to one of my friends' bodies. this is the first and last i'll post about my view on the matter.

and regardless of whether their debt to society is paid or not, people will still remember the person as "that guy who fucked around with those corpses". kind of like OJ's still remembered as "that guy who got away with murder".

There was nothing left in that body that gave two shits what happened to it. If there is a soul, it was in the afterlife. All intelligence, life, love, everything was gone.

The debt is decided in a court. By a jury. If that's not good enough for you, you need to become a Senator and enact tougher corpse desecration laws.

A body is an inanimate object. Of course it doesn't give a shit what happens to it. Nothing dead does. But the principle of the fact that it was once a human being capable of these things means it deserves at least some respect. You may not feel the same, but I do.

And I do think becoming a senator would be a bit much. I was just trying to make a point that just because a "debt to society" has been paid, doesn't make everything fine and peachy again.... You fuck with corpses, people are gonna think not so nice things about you for the rest of your life... what else do you expect? The bias will always be there because you fucked up. No matter what somebody does in their life to fuck up. Whether it's child molestation or corpse desecration. There's really no way around it. Old subject that has already been discussed, so i'll leave it at that. Blah.

"The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life." - T.R.

In college, I fucked a girl who could just as well have been dead. Does that count?

" More than 80 photographs on three rolls of film contained images of a dead woman with a party noisemaker in her mouth and others posed with signs that said, “Happy Halloween” and “Time's Up.” "

Sorry, someone who has no respect for the dead deserves to be shown the boot.

Dude, I have agree with you on that. That is some screwed up shit. I can't say I would feel too happy if some one did that to anyone I knew. As for this being less nasty than vandalism, nope. I think not.

Finally, that guy JT needs to go back to school and learn how to use these characters:

Indeed.

The same witch hunt mentality is very much alive on here.

True there about the body being an empty shell after death, but the issue is the loved ones who are still alive. I would be madder than hell if someone treated the body of a loved one as nothing more than a subject for art or a source of amusement. Desecrating a body or grave is more a sign of contempt to the living.

The funeral, grave etc that are used when someone dies are for the living. Gives them a chance for closure and to maintain some link to the deceased. As for the deceased, s/he are probably beyond caring.

have we not gone over this 2000 times?

the man SERVED his time, didn't complain, got out of prison and found passion in a hobby that he luckily stumbled upon in his own back yard.

doesn't he deserve a secnod chance?

this is why the recidivation rate is so high for ex-cons. no one gives them a chance to prove themselves.

He really never broke any of the forum rules to my knowledge. I mean Im sure weve all done terrible things. I think its just a shame that group who claims to be so accepting would kick him from the lunch table.
