I love both of them.

The first one, I love how you focused in on the writing, and everything else kind of just fades away.

The second one, I love the contrasting colors...

Great work

There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop...

#1: I find it uninteresting. I don't have a suggestion for improvement other than maybe a straight on shot of the chalkboard showing the writing and erased portions.

#2: Great pic. Love the coloring, paint and rust. Just straighten it up a bit. A great example where a horizontal line right near the middle of the photo really works.

The balance between the complimentary blue and orange in the second picture is perfect. I'm itching to see what else is written on the blackboard in the first picture, though.

You are now breathing manually.
