Dec 2007 This was once a heavily timbered lodge, overlooking the Sooke River, just beyond Sooke Potholes Provincial Park. The 20-year-old structure was never completed and was recently removed due to rotting timber. I was lucky enough to get there just before the take down. Now I know i can still go back and see what is left. I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Also the river right below this place is called the "potholes" because of the deep holes in the bed of the stone river bank caused by erosion.
